Mazunte and beyond

After Oaxaca I headed back to the coast and stayed a night in a hostal right on the beach.

The view from my bedroom window.

My last view of the Pacific Ocean!

Mazunte was an eccentric place, great for people watching.

A mango, mescal margarita on the rocks with salt. Perhaps the most delicious thing I have ever tasted in my life!

Then inland. The locals plant a lot of corn/maze beside the road, or anywhere that is accessible.

Away from the towns the small shops along the road sell gasolina by the plastic jug. Thankfully I’ve never had to buy any, don’t know how clean or old it is or the quality.

I assume this is young coffee plants that they also plant along the road where ever they can reach.

Speaking of coffee... nobody in MX drinks coffee. Most "coffee shops" will open in the evening-8pm. If you order coffee in a restaurant with desayuno chances are you will be served instant coffee.
