Banamichi to San Carlos to Guamuchil

This was a mistake! So the back story, someone I met in an RV park tried to talk me into caravanning (there’s safety in numbers) down to San Carlos last winter. They were saying what an awesome place this was and only a (long) days drive from the US. There is an RV park right on the main drag that we were going to stay for a month or so. I talked myself out of the notion after pricing MX insurance for my truck, trailer plus motorcycle.

So since it was on the way I thought I would stop in and look around. The town doesn't deserve "resort status" in my opinion. The Totonaka RV park also has apartments/motel rooms they rent on the cheap. I booked 2 nights… at 8PM the band started warming up across the road at the bar. At 9 they were rocking and didn’t stop until 2am. Then, the Canadians got back to their RV’s and continued the festivities for a couple more hours. I didn’t stay the 2nd night. The next day, on 3 hours sleep, I drove to the end of the pavement past all the gated resorts and turned around and headed back to the highway. I detoured through Guaymas, I don’t recommend that ether!

I was in search of warm weather so I hustled down the coast on 15D, the 4 lane toll road. The next night in Navojoa then the next night in Guamuchil. The scenery didn't change, and not much to report I was just looking for 80 degrees so I could shed a couple layers and start enjoying the riding.
